EXHAUST HEADER 12A, 84-85 RX7 AUTO TRANSMISSION
Racing Beat 12A Exhaust Header, 84-85 RX7 Automatic Transmission
This Streetable Header/Collector is designed for a bolt-on installation, when used with the appropriate Power Pulse Presilencer in all 1984-85 RX-7 (12A – Automatic Transmission) models. The combination of this Header/Collector and the appropriate presilencer replaces the stock exhaust manifold and all catalytic converters, along with any intermediate pieces of tubing.
The Header/Collector assembly is constructed with .120-inch wall, mandrel-bend, mild steel tubing for increased durability. Both flanges are flame-cut from .4375-inch thick steel plate for positive gas sealing. An outlet gasket is included. An engine-to-header gasket is available separately if needed.

EXHAUST SYSTEM SINGLE, 84-85 12A AUTO TRANS
Racing Beat Single Exhaust System, 84-85 12A with Automatic Transmission
Racing Beat offers a complete RX-7 high-performance exhaust system for the 1984-85 12A RX-7 (w/automatic transmission) which includes our Header/Collector, a Power-Pulse Presilencer, and our legendary Power Pulse main muffler. These components attach to all stock mounting points, and include all necessary gaskets and hardware. The only component not included is the factory connecting pipe that mounts just ahead of the main muffler. There is no horsepower to be gained by replacing this pipe with a larger diameter assembly. If your factory connecting pipe needs replacing, we suggest you contact your local Mazda dealer or muffler shop.
These exhaust systems offer excellent horsepower gains when you require a muffled exhaust system for your stock-ported engine. The actual horsepower increase depends on which year/model stock RX-7 exhaust system you are comparing to, but a 22% increase at 7000 rpm is typical. Thanks to the combined efforts of the Power-Pulse Presilencer and the Power Pulse Main muffler, the exhaust noise is only slightly higher than stock, with a very low, pleasant character.
