Racing Beat Oil Pan Baffle, 12A 71-85
The Racing Beat-designed and manufactured Oil Baffle Plate slows the return of engine oil as it drains from the engine into the pan. In slowing the oil’s return, air that has been suspended in the oil (as foam) is allowed more time to separate from the oil.
Removing this trapped air both improves the ability of the oil to transfer heat and reduces pressure drops at high RPM. The plate is sandwiched between the engine and the oil pan. It is recommended that two oil pan gaskets be used, one below and one above the plate, to provide proper sealing. Gaskets are not supplied, but are available separately if needed.

This set fits all 2 rotor engines. Contains 22 bolts—-not all 2 rotor engines will need all 22 bolts.
6 x 1.0 with 10mm of thread–this is the OEM length.
**PLEASE NOTE: This bolt length is NOT recommended for use with oil pan baffles!!!!**
We see those oil pan stud & nut sets on Ebay–they are an ok idea but you have to remember they must ALL be removed to adequately clean the old gasket & sealer off your engine. They also say the studs “stop oil pan gasket leaking due to engine flex”….. IF YOUR ENGINE IS FLEXING THAT MUCH YOU HAVE A LOT OF OTHER THINGS WRONG WITH IT! Your engine should not be flexing enough to allow the gasket to leak!

PILOT BEARING REMOVER TOOL
Pilot Bearing Remover Tool
To remove the old pilot bearing the bearing MUST be gripped at its front end. Very few of the aftermarket pullers we tested were able to do this correctly. They often tended to destroy the bearing making removal even harder.
To use the tool simply insert the attachment into the bearing, being sure to get it to the end of the bearing, insert the tapered / threaded end of the slap hammer part and screw them together until the bearing is firmly gripped. Then just “slap hammer” it out. Should take less than a minute.
This tool prevents eccentric shaft damage when removing bearing.
This tool does fit other cars including Miata. We do not have a list of cars that it will work on. The RX pilot bearing/input shaft measures .588″. If your application also has a .588 shaft/bearing, this tool will work.SKU: 49-1285 -
