WEBER NUT 8X1.25 WITH 10MM HEX
Weber Nut 8X1.25 With 10mm Hex
These are needed for the larger bore carbs as there is not enough room to get a 12mm wrench correctly on the base nuts.
These use a 10mm wrench which gives you room to tighten the nut.
Hard to find in “not jet nut” style and in steel. They can come in handy in many other places also.

WEBER INLET FITTING, AN -6 TO WEBER 12MM
-6 To Weber 12mm Inlet Fitting
All Weber IDA carbs come with a useless banjo fitting we have never figured out how to use (unless you tap it 1/8-pipe and use a “barb” fitting). This will replace the stock inlet fitting with -6AN so you can use braided hose.
The 12mm Stat-O-Seal is strongly recommended for this fitting — it is at: WEBER INLET SEAL, STAT-O-SEAL FOR 12MM
We also have a 90° fitting for 8mm / 5/16″ push on hose at: WEBER INLET FITTING for 8mm (5/16″) push on hoseClick Here for a Weber 48IDA Suggested Parts List

WEBER SHAFT LEVER, WITH STOP PIN LEFT
Weber Shaft Lever, With Stop Pin Left.
14ga steel
We have these “stops” made for us so the throttle STOP is on the same side of the carb as the throttle PULL. Adjusted correctly this prevents the throttle shaft from being bent when full throttle is applied.
This is our latest design that “includes” the washer that covers the shaft bearing. This also allows more thread engagement of the nut onto the throttle shaft as you no longer use the original bearing cover washer. All descriptions refer to a front mounted rotary engine in a rear wheel drive car.
There are two types of manifold for downdraft IDAs: fuel inlet on engine side with throttle cable pulling from above the throttle shaft, and fuel inlet on the fender side, with the throttle cable pulling from below the throttle shaft. The manifold determines the carb orientation. It is best to have the cable pull, the idle speed screw, throttle stop, and return spring all on the same end of the carb. If this is not done, you will twist the throttle shaft, which can lead to various poor running conditions.
