Racing Beat Modified Holley Carburetor Only, 12A Street Port 465CFM Discontinued
Sorry, this item has been discontinued by the Manufacturer
We offer the extremely popular Racing Beat-modified High Performance Holley carburetor – 465cfm body – for the 1976-85 12A Street-Ported engine application. This carburetor body is the same modified component that is included in our complete 1976-85 12A Street-Ported engine kit. The optional air cleaner assembly and manifold shown are not included, but are available with the complete kit, or as separate items.
Each carburetor is modified by Racing Beat to maximize the performance of a specific engine application. Every carburetor is disassembled, modified and reworked by a Racing Beat carburetor technician. These modifications are the results of countless hours of engine dyno testing and real-world testing. These extensive modifications are undertaken to increase the airflow to meet the demands of the rotary engine.
This carburetor requires the use of a high performance fuel pump delivering 6 psi @ 20 gph, we suggest the use of the Mallory 4070M unit

Complete Ready-To-Install Kit
One of most significant benefits of this complete ready-to-go kit is that is takes all the guesswork, trial-and-error, and frustration out of attempting to assembly your own intake kit! Racing Beat has taken over 40 years of their rotary engine experience and know-how and combined it for you in this complete, ready-to-install kit. Racing Beat’s intake kits has been thoroughly developed and tested using their in-house engine dyno to ensure maximum performance for each specific engine application.Rotary-tuned By Racing Beat
The heart of each intake system is a performance-proven Holley carburetor. Depending on the requirements of each specific application, the carburetor is disassembled by Racing Beat’s carburetor technicians then reworked, retuned, and reconfigured specifically for use with a designated rotary engine application. This process is not a simple “re-jetting” project, but a complex series of steps requiring machining, drilling and reconfiguring of the main and metering bodies, adjustment of the float bowls, and complete replacement of all jets. Each comprehensive package includes a Racing Beat cast-aluminum high-rise intake manifold with a vacuum source for power brakes, a Racing Beat-modified Holley carburetor (465 CFM), foam air cleaner and canister assembly, throttle and metering oil pump linkages, and appropriate gaskets. All emissions control fittings are eliminated. This carburetor includes a vacuum-operated choke. The Racing Beat Kit for the Street Port engine includes the same basic components as our non-ported engine Holley Kits (P/N 18009); however, the specific internal modifications to the 465 CFM carburetor are significantly different.

Exhaust headers must be used with this street port intake system to achieve maximum horsepower gains.

MANIFOLD HOLLEY, 79-85 12A
Holley Manifold, 79-85 12A Stock port
The Racing Beat-designed intake manifold for the 1979-85 12A Stock and Street-ported engine is ideally suited to meet the performance requirements of the Holley carburetor. Designed by Chief Engineer/Engine Builder Jim Mederer, these cast aluminum intake manifolds have proven themselves in a variety of street and race applications.
All of Racing Beat’s rotary engine manifolds for Holley carburetor applications are sand-cast by a local foundry and delivered to our in-house production shop for all machining and surface finishing processes. All Racing Beat intake manifolds are hand-ported to match a specific intake port configuration for the intended engine application. Further machining is then undertaken to match the base-plate surface to the Holley carburetor base. These critical machining steps ensure a positive fitment between both the engine surface and the carburetor base. Every intake manifold is then surface finished using a ball-burnishing process that enhances the final appearance of the aluminum material. Once these labor-intensive processes have been completed these manifolds look as good as they perform!
This manifold includes a vacuum source for power brakes. If needed, an engine-to-manifold gasket (79-80) or (81-85), and/or Holley base gasket are available separately.

AIR FILTER HOUSING, RACING BEAT HOLLEY WITHOUT FILTER
Racing Beat Air Filter Housing Without Filter for Racing Beat Holley Carburetor
Racing Beat’s dyno-proven Power Pulse Air Filter Assembly, for the Holley Carburetor, is designed specifically for performance. While the assembly uses the same Racing Beat foam air filter element that fits the stock canister, the design of the Power Pulse canister both improves air flow into the carburetor and limits the introduction of dirt particles into the filter element. The spun aluminum canister pieces are powder-coated white for added durability.
The Power Pulse Air Filter Assembly fits most Holley 465, 550, 600, and 650 CFM carburetors (specifically, all Racing Beat Holley Intake System Kits). There is no provision for emission control valve hose/air pump hose connections on this assembly; however, there is a position available to connect a crankcase breather tube if needed.
