These are very prone to leaking, especially in the 86-88 non-turbos (and we have had a few of the other types in the 86-95 range leaking).
When they begin leaking, liquid (sometimes a spray) gasoline is on top of the engine — NOT a good thing. We have had many customers cars towed in here (and heard of many more) that were BURNED WAY BEYOND REPAIR!
If yours is leaking, FIX IT NOW!!
We had two service customers that we had TOLD them theirs’ was leaking, and explained the real fire hazard — they did not want to fix it at that time. Their cars were towed in within 3 days, totaled due to fire damage.

Ruined: most plastic, throttle body, BPAV, air control valve, fuel lines, alternator, wiper motor, engine bay wiring loom, cruise control, injectors, belts, fan shroud, all solinoids on the engine, hood, and sometimes windshield, etc etc etc. |

Designed by Racing Beat, this kit comes complete with machined fuel injector plugs, O-rings, Allen head bolts, and a retention plate. The Fuel Injection Plug Kit fits the 1993-95 13B and 20B (2 kits required) engines and is intended for use when removal of the fuel injectors from the intermediate housing is required. This kit has proven to be a popular item when replacing the fuel injection system with a carburetor system or when developing a customized intake system.

Racing Beat Air Filter Housing, Stock without Filter
Racing Beat’s dyno-proven Power Pulse Air Filter Assembly, for all 1971-85 Stock Carburetor Bodies, is designed specifically for performance. While the assembly uses the same Racing Beat foam air filter element that fits the stock canister, the design of the Power Pulse canister both improves air flow into the carburetor and limits the introduction of dirt particles into the filter element. The spun aluminum canister pieces are powder-coated white for added durability.
There is no provision for emission control valve hose/air pump hose connections on this assembly; however, there is a position available to connect a crankcase breather tube if needed.
