As we all know, compromised door lock grommets are the leading cause of engine failure in rotary vehicles. Or maybe not. But they are $3 each and you can still get them.
The old ones lasted 40 odd years and seem fine- but I just painted the car and for $6, why wouldn’t I just buy these now and likely never need to worry about door lock grommets again in my life? And I mean… they’re still available. Who knows if I ever actually needed them due to eventual failure if they’d be around? Just buy them. They are $6.
