WEBER SHAFT LEVER, WITH STOP PIN RIGHT

Weber Shaft Lever, With Stop Pin Right
This STOP is for when the carb fuel inlet is on the Engine side, cable pulling from ABOVE the shaft.
These are for what we call “Australian Style” manifolds.

All descriptions refer to a front mounted rotary engine in a rear wheel drive car.

There are two types for downdraft IDA’s: fuel inlet on engine side with throttle cable pulling from above the throttle shaft, and fuel inlet on the fender side, with the throttle cable pulling from below the throttle shaft. The manifold determines the carb orientation. It is best to have the cable pull, the idle speed screw, throttle stop, and return spring all on the same end of the carb. If this is not done, you will twist the throttle shaft, which can lead to various poor running conditions.
With this throttle STOP the throttle STOP is on the same side of the carb as the throttle PULL. Adjusted correctly this prevents the throttle shaft from being bent when full throttle is applied.
And we all know the harder you push on the gas pedal the faster you will go ??
