RX-8 side seals come in five different lengths. The side of the rotor is stamped with the letter that determines which side seal to use. this is explained further below. When ordering a rotor kit you must tell us what lengths and how many of each you need.
When using these rotors in an actual RX-8 side exhaust port engine, Mazda uses very loose side seal to corner seal end clearance. When using these rotors in a side intake motor, such as RX-7, we recommend a much tighter side seal to corner seal clearance. To get to this, you need to specify/buy the extra length uncut side seals
