Our Short Shifters include the boot around the lever (the one that bolts to the transmission) and all the bushings needed. The height of the shift knob remains the same as your original one.
Our 81-83 FB shift lever has the correct (12mm x 1.50) thread for the OEM shift knob.
Each lever comes with needed hardware and installation instructions.

The shorter throw of these Short Throw Shifters is accomplished by changing the pivot point of the lever. The distance the knob travels when shifting is shortened to 3 1/2″ from the original 6″.
