L.S.D. GEAR OIL ADDITIVE

If you get a “chatter” from the rear axle when starting from a stop, and turning at the same time, you need to add this additive to your rear end oil. This is due to the clutches in the differential locking and un-locking. The Limited Slip Additive assists with the applying and releasing of the clutch plates. One container/part number needed per rear end oil change.

For clutch type limited slips – all OEM’s through 1988. The later ones are either viscous or Torsen type and do not require additive.

    JBWELD, Epoxy

    JB WELD is a two-part epoxy for repairing, or building up metal. We use it in many different places – for filling ports when building peripheral engines, building up runners inside intake manifolds, backfilling behind ports when we know we will break through to the water jacket, filling EGR passages in center housings, etc. It is an extremely versatile material that adheres great to just about anything solid. It is very easy to sand or grind after it hardens, and can easily be built up in layers. Remains pliable for about 20 minutes after mixed (but can flow where you don’t want it for a few hours), requires overnight to harden. The best “tool” we have found for applying it is popsicle sticks. Each box contains two 5 oz tubes – one of the JB material, and one of hardener.

    Astounding number of uses. We use it to fill the intake ports when prepping side housings for  peripheral intake engines. as well as many other places. 2-part epoxy.
