LOGICON AIRMIX MOTOR, 86-92 ALL
We have found more than a few of these bad. The symptoms are almost impossible to separate from a bad Logicon. Additionally – it is very possible to have the Air Mix Motor, AND the Logicon, both bad. The factory manual gives a good method of testing these using a 12V supply and a volt/ohm meter. The motor controls the heater valve and the directing of the air under the dash. It is located on the left side of the heater unit, under the dash, and replacement is not that complicated.

This is the module that plugs into the back of the actual logicon. It rarely is bad, and the main reason we seem to sell a few of these is that it was thrown away with the old logicon.
