It has been recently brought to our attention that the oil holes in the RX8 gears sometimes don’t align with the feed holes in the side housings in the Renesis engines. This misalignment could affect main and rotor bearing oiling as well as rotor cooling. We do not know which part is to blame, but some engines shipped from the factory with this misalignment.
We recommend matching the hole manually for all builds using RX8 gears, and/or RX8 housings in any configuration.
